What should I expect from the live, online reading sessions?

• You will be placed in a Zoom waiting room and will be admitted to the room when it’s time for your session.

• My camera will either be off or pointed towards the card-area, you’re welcome to have your camera on or off.

• The session is not recorded by default, but you are welcome to request the session be recorded at the beginning of the session if you’d like something to review. If the session is recorded, I will send the file to you after we’ve finished and it’s uploaded. Tech glitches and mishaps can occur, resulting in lost files. Because of this, recordings are not guaranteed.

• I will be wearing headphones, so anything you share will only be heard by me.

I’d love to book with you but I can’t afford the rates. Do you offer sliding scale or financial aid in some way?

I don’t know what question to ask for my reading, help!

If we’re doing a live reading together, I can help guide you through question formation.

But if you’re opting for non-live readings, or you want to arrive to our live session super prepared, a good rule of thumb is to create a question that focuses on you, your experience, and insights that will best serve you.

For example, if you’re going through a rough patch in a relationship, instead of asking “is (insert name here) mad at me?” or “how will this situation end, is the relationship over?”, think of reframing the question as “what can I learn from this situation?” or “where can I focus, or what tools can I use, to help myself work through and step away from this conflict”

Some examples of real questions I have worked with in the past:

• How can I bring a happy relationship into my life?

• How can I learn to trust in myself and 'the process' to combat indecisiveness in all aspects of my life (career, romantic relationships, friendships, etc...)?

• How can I serve my community in a way that supports my values, and is there a way that I can ritualize this practice?

When in doubt, we can also base the reading around a general topic and see what the cards have to say. When we read on a general topic instead of a specific question, you can gain great overall insights and messages that you weren’t anticipating, though the perspectives you receive may be less attuned to the specific happenings in your life.

Whether you want something more general or refined if up to you.

Some topics are:

• General (arrive with no expectations and see what the cards have to say)

• Work (the direction you’re heading, what can you learn from your current position, a message that can help you if you’re feeling stagnant)

• Relationships (platonic, romantic, acquaintances, self)

• Community Care

• Self exploration

• Time

I want to book with you but I can’t send E-Transfers, what should I do?

What is your refund, reschedule, and cancellation policy?

Live readings can be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance of your booking. Reschedule requests within 24 hours of the session will not be granted and all associated session costs will not be refunded.

If you miss the reading, the cost will not be refunded. Your reading is considered 'missed' if you are more than 10 minutes late to your booked start time, and the cost will not be refunded nor can it be transferred to a future session.

If you arrive after your start time but before ten minutes late, we will still continue with the reading but the session time may run out before the reading can be completed.

The reader (Sabrina B.) has the ability to reschedule appointments with little or no notice due to unforeseen circumstances or otherwise. In the case of a reschedule notice from the session host, the client will be refunded if rescheduling isn’t possible.

Non-live Spiritual Support (PDFs and/or Audio Files) cannot be rescheduled or cancelled. After your booking is secured through confirmed payment, you will receive a due date by which you should receive your product.

Booking fees for any Spiritual Support offering are non-refundable once purchased.

I’m deciding between Spiritual Support/Reading and Peer Support, but I don’t know which to choose. What’s the difference?

During Peer Support: You are the star of the show. As two peers chatting, we enter a space where the understanding is that the focus is on you and you guide our conversation. There will be a lot of space for chatting back and forth, sharing experiences that have brought you to our session, research on external resources that can be helpful to you, and plotting out strategies for ameliorating your current situation.

During a Spiritual Reading: You ask and the cards answer. The whole session is structured around the cards, with your question/topic as the fuel. The insights that are shared and the places we go are largely dictated by the cards we pull in session together. While an aim for the session is to get you a reflection point or action item for whatever you bring to the booking; I am also focused on being in conversation with, and honouring, the cards. Much of the time spent in session will be me talking for and about the cards.
